Thursday is the new Friday

In Israel, the work week is Sunday-Thursday. Once again, Estella and I were up with the sun but we're happy to see Bobby off to work. When he got home, we went downstairs and met our neighbours. They are really cool and friendly. They have a daughter who is about a year younger than EV. I am so glad we ended up living at this place for so many reasons--our neighbours totally add to that list.
After that, we had to go pick up our spare keys in central Tel Aviv..not relevant except that was my first time to drive here!!! Sababa (no worries) I didn't hit anything or anyone! I think that driving will   likely be a recurring thing I write about so I will give it it's own post to share those experiences.
When we returned(safely...seriously, if you are going to worry, worry about the drivers and not what you are seeing on the news) we walked into Old Jaffa to have dinner. At this point, we still hadn't learned our lesson to split a meal so we had plenty left and decided to take the rest home.
We paid, left, and we're walking around the markets area only to realize we left our "to go" boxes at the restaurant. We figured they had thrown it out so just continued exploring. A little over an hour later we found ourselves right back by the cafe we started from--and though they were very busy, a guy who hadn't even been our waiter, stopped us and asked us of we still wanted our food. They had saved it for us!
As we were walking home, Estella fell asleep in her stroller so Luke and I sat out on the Port at a place called Container and listened to this really great band. Great start to our weekend together!

(Not pictured) is EV waving super big to daddy, so daddy waving equally so...

I need to do a better job at getting the name of each place we eat at
