On Friday, the jet lag finally caught up with Luke. We slept in until almost 11am! We met our neighbours at the port for coffee. Estella was having too much fun dancing around with her balloon, waving at everyone, seeing all the doggies, and watching the other children with kites, bikes, and scooters.
After coffee, we walked around for a little bit but Estella was getting hot plus things started to close down for Shabbat. The culture here is very much family focused so weekends are not spent working--they close early and go spend as much time with family as possible.
Luke and I sat on our patio while Estella napped before we met up with a few of Luke's coworkers for dinner.
